Working with psychedelics under the care of a psychiatrist has helped the artist known as Swoon address her personal trauma and expand her creative potential. Swoon exploded onto the street art scene with wall pieces beloved by her peers as well as the random passersby lucky enough to encounter them. Now an art world force with museum shows and exhibitions, the personal has become political and social with the environment, earthquake disaster relief in Haiti and opioid addiction among her preoccupations.
