The enfant-terrible of New York’s legendary 80s downtown scene is now all grown up. Though the former Paper magazine Senior Editor and High Times columnist is still a bit of a contrarian, his advocacy of an alternative art history with graffiti, street, psychedelic and outsider art at its center is now widely accepted as visionary.
